Mike: That stuff you were asking about in your diary looks like purple loostrife. If that's what it is, it's highly detested here in Michigan because it chokes out native cattails and ruins habitat for waterfowl. Don't tell any Ducks Unlimited people you are growing it or they will come over and rip it out for you! Frank

Yeah, but it sure looks nice, and I got no ducks in my little yard, plus it shades my fish pond, sooooo....It works for me! P.S. Anyone caught ripping ANY plants out of my yard (including dogs digging up pumpkin seedlings) Will now get an @ss full of 00 buckshot.
