Need help in deciding what to cross my 845 with. It is a real vigourous plant. I can cross it with the 1097 Beachy or 898 Knauss. What does everyone think?

before I lost my 845 and 898 plants, that was the cross I was looking forward to making.

After this season I believe that the 898x845 and reverse cross will be THE cross that everyone will want to grow in the next few years. The 1104 Hester, 1133 Demers, 1058 Wallace, 500 Wallace and other great 898x845 crosses should really make a statement this year. But this probably isn't news to anyone who is paying attention to our world of pumpkin growing.

Ray, I really like the 898 X 1097 cross you did. Do you know what you'll cross the 1097 with? I'd probably cross the 845 with the 898 as well. That cross has done real well already.

Thanks everyone. Looks like the 845 x 898 it is. Doug - Thinking of putting the 898 in the 1097.
