Now what? (Take a few minutes and scroll down to my last diary entry. The one on the 22nd. Once it's officially posted I'll postit's site) Please tell me this is a burn of some sort and not some weird disease. It's on both of my main plants on the tips but back a few leaves. Also on my longest secondary toward the tip. Didn't see anything underneath the leaves except the underneath of the leaves. Plants have only been out of the hoop house since Saturday the 18th.

That looks like a classic case of humidity/heat damage. Cucumbers suffer from it as well, but not to the extent I have seen it on my AG's. My southern facing plants have a few leaves with exactly the same damage. The wilted area will die, but the remainder of the leaf will be fine. If the majority of a leaf is affected, I usually cut it off, otherwise I leave it alone. It is not a spray related problem, nor is it a disease. The plant will be fine.

Thanks. Guess I'll have to think more about the temp in the patch rather than the air temp. It does seem much warmer in there. Kahuna, the last time I applied a foliar to the plants was some Miracle Gro on the 14th.

I got a leaf that looks like that too. It's real ugly, but not affecting growth or anything.

The majority of the AG plants in my garden are showing a few signs of burn on a few leaves as well.... Since this summers been so abnormal for our area (generally TN has rainfall every 4-6 days, temps from 60-85 - during this time... This year we've been in an 'August pattern' with Heavy downpores every 14-22 days, no rain in-between, temps from 70-92....)

It also seems that the plants with the most affected leaves - are also the most vigorous... go figure...

I get a few burned leaves every year. Usually it's the immature leaves a few back from from the vine tip. It hasn't been unusauly hot here yet so I think it is the angle of the sun.
