This is a plea to the AG grower that pissed off Mother Nature.
Seems that we've all been dealing with adverse weather since the start of the year, So one of you must have said something against Mother Nature, and she is making all of us pay. I have not said anything to make her mad,
Please apoligize so the last half of the year is awsome.LOL

Ahhh Eddy..This is the 1st summer it has been nice in Wisconsin for a coons age. You guys need to eat more cheese and drink better beer. Go out in to your patches with happy thoughts.

Mother has been nasty to me here in Iowa this yr. Dry and hot. We are getting close to the severity of the drought of 1988. No rain in the extended forecast along with full sun and mid 90's.

We had a huge tornado about 10-15 km north of us last night. We don't get them too often in this area, so there were probably 70-80 cars along the north edge of town watching this thing move across the sky. Normal people run for cover....here in Taber, everyone piles into their cars and go to watch......including me. I'm just happy it, and the baseball size hail that smashed houses and cars, made a turn north and missed us....this time.

GO WI!! i second the coons age. It better stay nice, its about darn time eh. Its a bit dry here too, maybe some rain tomorrow but a high of 91 is in store...looks like mid 80's through next week as well.

Personally, i can live with a cold spring and june, but july and august are the important months along with first part of september. Need them to be some what warm and consistant...no huges swings in temp...but that never happens up here.

Baseball sized hail? i have never seen anything bigger than maybe three peas put together...where is Taber??? You guys must be on the north fringe of the huge warm bubble in the middle of the country here in the US....you guys are probably are in whats called the ring of fire....storms usually circle around the northern half of a huge hot humid high pressure system that sets up in the middle of the states. I would also go watch if it was near me.....that stuff is exciting..until the tornado hits ya or the hail leaves craters on your vehicle.

sax,I saw that twister on the weather channel the other day,and it looked like an f-3.They showed it crossing a highway there,WOW,and yes it was big.
We had one almost that big last spring(may 10th.),about 15 mi.S. of us(we are 70 mi. s.e. of Denver). The weird thing about that one,was that we heard on the radio, that there was a "big one"moving due north, and we were "due north" of this one,by about 25 mi.,and then suddenly THE POWER GOES OUT!.So I go running outside, and when came around the corner of the house, looking south,I came face-to face with the biggest twister i have ever seen i my life.It scared to crap out of me,as it was 3 finger-length's wide(at an arm's lenght),and it extended up,to about 45 deg.from the horizon, and at the time, this thing was still over 13 miles away!.Living here in eastern colorado can really test the nerves sometimes!

We're just an hours drive from the US border, north of Great Falls Montana. We usually just get dry heat all summer long, 85-100 for most of the summer. We had 8 inches of rain in June (and lots more than that a few hours north) and the humidity and the cold air from the east came in and just made things miserable. Up north in Central Alberta is better for tornados and they get them more often.
I talked to a lady this morning who was out golfing before this happened and they managed to get back to the clubhouse just as it turned really dark. All of the vehicles were smashed from the hail and it took out all of the skylights in the clubhouse. The tornados (as far as I know so far) never took any houses as it's vast farmland, but irrigation pivots were tossed around like matchsticks.
The scary thing was, we watched this storm come closer and closer for about 2 hours, then it turned just as the edge got to us. There was one in Lethbridge (50km west) as it passed through there. A salesman at a car dealership was calling me with van prices while he's watching a tornado out the window of his showroom. I think he wants my business.....
Just some nice, simple, sunny weather is all I want now.

Actually - the last time I complained about the weather to a horse chat group, left all the windows down in my vehicles, washed my cars, then went on my honeymoon... My farm got the first rain in 22 days - 5" in 36 hours!!!!

Sounds like a lot??? Granted that was 12 days ago - haven't seen a drop since!!!

Maybe I should jinx myself again?????
