Sorry to hear about the frost, your plants were looking pretty good. It's too bad to see another Albertan getting the shaft from mother nature. We had a frost warning last week, but it only hit 3. Last year we had -3 on June 6th or so. This is a strange place to live. I hope your plants can pull through. Alan

Hey, I like a challenge, and with our weather, we sure get one.

Hi Jamie, Iv'e been watching your diary and looked at your pictures. The 601 looks like it will make it and maybe the 338. No doubt a major set-back. I guess as long as there are still some live leaves they will grow back. My 338 is growing faster than my 601 so I guess the 601 likes cooler weather. I hope your luck with the weather changes. Thanks Ron looks like both plants will survive, I wont be pruning for a while though, The 338 seems stronger than the 601 At first I thought the 601 was gonna be gang busters but the 338 took over. After the frost the 338 is doing well so far the main is still growing grew 3 inches the next day but the main on the 601 may be toast it did not do anything looks like it shrunk, but new growth else where, I still have some seeds left over do you think they will still be good for next year? Any ways Thanks again.
