I am cutting off every other set of secondary vines. My question is should I bury them immediately or should I wait until the ends dry before I should bury the end?

when you prune, always let the wound heal for a day before you bury.

if you are cutting them off, what is left to be buried? oh, you mean TERMINATING them. hmmmm.... it has been a long time since i have done any pruning on an AG plant, like last September. well, that'll change soon! i always leave the very last, hand-sized leaf on the end of the vine and just pinch-off the "fist" of new growth to keep it from growing any further, of course. like Ben said, yeah, give it a day.
