swatted and svb and killed it today in the patch and noticed one spotted cuke beetle. didn't see any since the last heat wave until today. just a heads up to keep spraying new growth. i have 4 extra feet in every direction at least since my last spray and will give the plants a hit tonight again. watch the tender leaves and vine tips though.

Alright, Jeff, kill em all..lol. I been tryin the system you talked about in yer diary about sprayin for bugs and so far it's workin real good. Cuke beetles in both neighbors gardens, but none in mine...:)

i never thought i would see a cuke beetle and boy was i wrong the thing scared me lol was out checking the plants and looking at the male flowers when sure as anything one was in the flower you would of thought there was some big emergency in the back yard with me scremming for sis and holding the flower closed lol.I sprayed with ortho bug be gone and have not seen anymore so will see thanks for the heads up it helps when you know the enemy is comming or has arrived. grow them big see you at the weigh off hopefully if all grows well
