Anyone else having cool night temps right now? Not only did I majorly burn up my plants from pure stupidity, but now it's getting down to 45-46 degrees at night here in the Appalachain Mountains each night for almost a week now. Cold Spring, cold Summer.....geez, what a write-off year this is gonna be.

I haven't had a night as hot as 46 degrees yet. Our average low for the past 10 days would be about 38 degrees.

It all started off nice then bang a light frost the other night, I dont think it harmed the plants although one leaf was bent over, the same day it got to 28 C in the patch, were having hot days and very cool nights, I was not prepared for this, went from 5 inches a day down to 2 inches starting to pick up again, but some lows of 3C in the forecast. Oh well Ill be glad to see 300# plus.

Average low for the the last 18 days (june) is 37.8 degrees. (range 32.4-45.5) This isn't cold just normal for for high Idaho desert.

Kyle, we had that mini heat wave last week with night time temps staying 65-70...even here in the valley!! THe plants were lovin it and put on some Major new growth! BUT, all good things come to an end and the bottom fell out thursday night and we havent been over 68 daytime temp since, cool 50's at night and growth has almost come to a screeching halt. There's supposed to be more heat coming by monday. Gotta love this weather in the Buckeye!!! Mike

we had a few nights dip into the upper 40's the last few nights, which isn't that unusual, but now a heat wave is coming so night temps are back up. should be good for punkin growth and also for getting some tomatoes set.

Ditto here... cool, crappy and miserable, with a hint of ugly for next week, with a little damp and soggy for the week after. Wouldn't be too bad if it was early February.

cold and crappy here, been that way for weeks. Plants seem to be doing alright though, but I'd like them to be a bit bigger!

It's 89 degrees here now, night temps. around mid 60s. I noticed some monor leaf flagging. I'll take it, after a rainy, and somewhat cool May and first half of June.

Night temperatures vary from 48°-54°. About normal for the Pacific Northwest. It is the day temps that have been consistently 3-5° lower for the month of June. Never-the-less, most of my plants are ahead of last year.....ie. more females appearing earlier....very strange!
