Well I now have a pumpkin set and it doubled its size in one day! Hey Im a papa! well not really but after wind hail and on i have a pumpkin growning, and now that one has set a whole bunch more are trying, its feast or famine i guess.
I know its my first time and this is routine to everyone else. But i'm proud!
Now i wonder how big it will get, if i break 100 pounds i will feel great!
Just thought i would let everyone know. I also have watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, cushaw, cucumber, corn, matoes, squash, chard, and carrots.
I feeling great! hope everyone else is doin ok now. Larry

okay, i will admit it---- my recent moment of sheer happiness was on Sunday when i had an.....
well, let's just say that the framework i have been working on, a giant trellis for my long gourd plants, was finally completed and i raised that puppy/tilted 'er up and stood in awe at this 11-foot-high thing i had created out of 2 X 4 X 12s and much scratching my head wondering how was i gonna do it-----i was even happier once i got the thing moved, on two very shaky wheels on one end of it, 100 feet away to next to the plants for them to start growing up it----i was inspired by how quickly these little plants can grow! we'll see how high they like to get out there in the patch......sorry for the hijack....eric
