Saw it tonight near my Big max where I had dug some dirt to cover a seconday vine. Bright yellow, almost flourescent looking mound of fungus. Popped up all of a sudden. First super hot day here in SC. Any ideas? Thanks.

you know, you just reminded me that i had the same thing pop up here a few days ago. it was on top of one of my leaf piles, though. quick growth, then the rain must have washed it away because i don't remember seeing it for a day or two now. i'd be interested in finding out what it is also. seems harmless.

That picture is precisely what mine looked like. It scared me because it was close to my plant. I scooped it up and caried it away. Thanks for the reply and the picture.
