7.48 gallons/ft3

3.146*16*1.33=67ft3

67 x 7.48 = 501 gallons

actually your pi approximation is off a little bit but it doesn't make a significant difference in your results. to three decimal places it would be 3.142.

this also assumes that by "8ft round" you mean the diameter is 8 feet.
