how much would 3-4 days of cloudy rainy weather with NO sun affect the growth of a fruit? If it affects the growth,,will the growth pick back up when the sun finally pops back out?

it is normal to see a 5 lb a day drop if its cloudy and rainy but the pumpkin will pick back up once the sun comes out again
more serious that this is the change from a cold snap back to hot
lasy year we had a really cold night ( mid august ) and even though i had the pumpkins blanketed once they were uncovered in the am i lost two to blossom splits a couple hrs later
( best advice i could give is if this happens to you leave the blankets on until around 10 am so the fruit warms up a bit slower )
then again, possibly if its meant to be it will happen anyway
