This pumpkin has a split leaf and I think more than normal nodes and branching. . .is he a double? Should I soon take the other vines off?

Its hard to tell from the photos. Give it time but don't take off any vines yet. If it is you can retrain a secondary as the main vine it turns out that you need to prune the main.

Looks ok to me,should know in 3 to 4 days with warm weather it should grow about a foot or so then should know for sure.
