I've got a 1inc. Inline split on plant, made a paste of captans, and covered it up going to let dry. Is there anything else I can do at this early stage. Thanks
Roger.

Take a twist tie off a loaf of bread and tie the split back together..It should seal itself back together as it heals..Hope this helps Roger.. Jeff

treat a strip of cloth with captan paste, put it around the vine like a bandage (very loosely wrapped to allow for growth, and bury when possible. It will grow fine if you protect it from disease.

Thank you all, very much! I'll go do it now, and by the way Rock just busted me about this post, but I promised to take care of it. Rog.
