I have a customer who uses all of the available predator urine types as deer repellents (Coyote, Bobcat & Wolf). They have noted that (for Deer) they need to try each one & sometimes combine them (in different spots) to get the "flavor" most effective for a given property.

I suppose the same could be true for Squirels.

Feed the little buggers.
take good foor to the corner of your lot.
put out a feast.
use live traps or a gun.
are they damaging things?

I have an endless supply, of squirrels. I feed them 24/7/365. To the best, of my knowlege they do no harm, to the pumpkin patch outside of hiding a few seeds. Now if you leave your seed, on the picnic table, that is another story.

A water station, on the ground, will be appreciated as will a block, of salt. This keeps the little buggers from chewing hoses, for salt and water, in a dry period.

Docgipe,im talking about GROUND squirrls, not tree squriels & yes tree squirrels dont bother plants ,but ground squirrels do!(for now my plants are under 3 x 4&2ft tall screens but will soon out grow, then ill keep moving screen over main & bury main! I also have 3 ft plastic fence around intire patch and it keeps out most squrils 99% but it only takes one (1)to ruin everything! thanks everyone

Mike it's only wrong if you miss. LOL I was shooting them with my 22.250 two years ago. I've also mowed my lawn with my 12 ga. They pop their head up to see what's going on...........then BLAM!!!!
