Would it be to late to start more plants? If you saw my earlier post, I burnt my plants with Malathion and I will probably lose 3 of my 4. The only one that may make it is the 490 Beachy(I'm keeping my fingers crossed). The plants I am losing are the 1097.5 Beachy, 1432 Carlson/Petersen and the 851 Davies:(. I was just wondering if it's to late??
Thanks, Mikkal

Hi Mikkal, Not sure about where you live but I planted the seed that grew the Ga. record of 698 about second week of June and the plant in the patch July 1st. I have planted a seed here as late as July 5th and got a 417. We live 50 miles west of Atlanta Ga.

*In general*, June would be too late.

Temps have been cool for everyone. 80-90% percent of a pumpkins growth is by September for most growers. Go for it. Dave
