Just put my seeds in the pot today, using adv starting, they should pop up by wednesday/thursday, I go out of town for a week startging Saturday, return friday, do I leave em in the pots, which are 12" deep 6" round, or tossem in the ground friday night, im in Calif, so there is no chance of bad weather, and I have some room to bend the vine if need be.

If they pop by wed/thrs, Friday you should be able to tell what direction that 1st leaf is pointed.

If not wait 'til you get back. Having a slightly root bound plant is better to deal wtih than trying to turn a vine around.
