i know nitrogen dissipates naturally but how long do all the others last in the soil?

Phosphorus and potassium usually stay in soil until used by plants or washed away by erosion. I don't know about other nutrients. Your state's or another state's extension service would be an excellent source of information. Most have good info on the internet.
