Ok, I'm told that nastrium(sp) keeps away bugs from squash. Corn was used by the Cherrokee with pumpkins for insect control. The svb adult is a "wasp" ,,,What bug is its enemy? Can the adult fly under a sunshade? or do thet need light? Marigolds,, zinna? live soybean as a "mulch"

Do a search for 'Companion planting'. It should show you what all herbs and flowers to plant with which vegetables.
