I woke up this morning and to my horror there were little green worms eating the leaves of my plants. I looked on the sevin bottle and found that they are called cabbage worms. I searched this site and didnt really find any info on them, but had found some good stuff on cutworms. This made me dig deeper. I thought that my little green worms that had already ate holes in the leaves needed discussion and so I pass on my findings. I found that they got there by moth larvae, which I found moths on the underneath side of my leaves. Try this website:
www.essortment.com/in/Gardening.Plant.Diseases.Pests
It was useful to me and it covers all kinds of problems you may encounter. It also tells how to terminate the problem. Hope this helps.

I found a few cabbage worms on my early cabbages today. It seems a bit early for them little white butterflies, but that's what they are. I usually don't see them here 'till early June.
