weather has it's way with us any time it wants. Mother Nature is tough to combat this early into the season. Cool then Warm then Cool again. This YoYo weather continues as we swing back to warmer than average days. The cycle seams to be changing every two to three weeks. Has anybody else noticed this crappy flucuation? What causes this? I know the jet stream guides the continents air movement but what moves the Jet stream in such wild ways?

The Pacific has been odd this year high eighties in Feb and high 80's in March and back to mid 60's and showers. Central Ca is locked between gulf systems and tropical ones. Making for unsteady changes. The West usually does not have tornado's however we have had a few of them. A few things have happened,it has been quite active in the vocanic, earthquake and Sunami regions. Think this will have major climatic changes in the upcoming months or longer. The west doesn't seem to be shifting into summer any time soon. Dry areas in Northern Ca and Or seem to be continuing and wetter in the southern and South West regions

WI has been a little funky this spring too. warm and not much rain in April, then finally got a little rain and unseasonably cool temps. Now we're finally warming up and I hope it's gonna stay on track for the rest of the spring.

Here in southern California it has been an amazing year. First we recieved significant rainfall in October, a very early start to the rainy season. In January and February we experienced two huge rainstorms in which some places recieved literally feet of rain. The total rainfall this season for my town is 30 in., an all time record.
Not complaining, though; we really need the moisture!
