last yr i had to reduce the ground squril population &used poison but just put it on tops of rocks where they usely where ! but a few times i think quail may have eaten it , so i wonder if thouse bait boxes would keep out birds ? and i wonder if i could just make some out of plywood ??

last year was the first year ever that i had trouble with squrils.after hand pollinating 2 female blossoms the squirrels would immediatly go in and eat each lobe till the middle was completely hollow! this year i,ll use tie wraps.
