I'm grateful for anything over 50° in May! Night time temperatures often are in the low 40's. Growth comes to a screeching halt below 50°!

Im with Stan, over 50 and less than 120. My plants love the sunny and over 100* temps. Gets them ready for the rough Iowa summer. So far no flagging and have been over 120 a couple times.

This early in the season I'm happy if they don't get below 40. My average night temp in July is 47 degrees. Night time temps are in the high twenties and with an electric 1500 watt heater I can keep them about ten degrees warmer then outside.

I've got the thermostat set to keep the overnight temperature in the hoophouse at 58 to 60 degrees and so far during the day with the end windows open, it has not gotten over 110 degrees. Sure is humid in there and the plants love it so far.

I open my cold frames trying to stay at 90 degerees highest temperature. I tape the windows shut as soon as the sun is off the frames.
