My 1279.5 Wykcoff is out of the ground (in pot) and has shown more growth in two days than any I have ever seen. I am very excited about this plant.
What can anyone tell me about this pumpkin??? Thx. Greg

The 1279.5 Wykcoff was a very large flat pumpkin. It was a tan color. I do know from talking to Winston that he grew an 866lb. pumpkin in which he had to cut from the vine since he won a trip to Japan for growing the 1279. He said it was still growing 18# a day in first of Sept. 04' when he cut the 866 from the vine. Another non-seasoned grower grew a squash from it 600+ lbs. It should go slightly heavy to estimate as well. The cross is 844 Wykcoff x 845 Nesbitt.
