We had a freeze warning last night (set a record low actually)so I franitcally covered everything including my extremely vigorous AG plant. I put a bed of straw all around it and then put one of those giant plastic lugs over it and hoped for the best...PHEW! I covered the rest of the garden with 6 mil plastic sheeting and it seems like nothing was hit. The peppers look a bit bedraggled from having the plastic on them, but they should bounce back quickly. Hopefully this will be the last cold weather and the growing can continue!

nice work hunt. whatever it takes bro. it was a crazy cold night here too. i had 2 space heaters running on high in my greenhouse that was sealed up tight. the lowest temp got down to 64 degrees. i must have went outside yesterday during the day to check temps 15 times and alter space heater settings. i got some pelonis ceramic temperature controlled heaters on the way in the mail so i do not have to worry so much about adjusting the space heaters manually. when you start early, you take your chances. lets hope like you said that this was just a freak spell and let the growing continue. if the cold comes again, do what ever it takes.
