I was wondering how much Ca Nitrate you added to the growing area and how large that area is etc.? Do you ever use this foliar on the plant or pumpkin? Thanks ahead.

My early plant I planted this year I used 1/2 cup calcium nitrate and 1/2 cup of urea in the mound and 8' diameter circle around it. I used it foiler twice and irrigated with it last year.

Cal Nitrate is 15.5-0-0. This is not nearly as "potent" as the other forms of "straight nitrogen". IMHO, it is the best way to add nitrogen to the patch....assuming everything else is in balance.
