now ive seen and read it all

i knew there was nitrogen in urine but i did not realize that all these years i was flushing part of my ammendment program down the drain

i think we should require all family members ( and guests) to forgo using the facilities and in the future leave there nitrogen deposits in a large drum by the patch ( mark it # 1 only )

we could also provide a step ladder for the little ones

what do you guys think? over the top here ?

One of the great joys of being a homeowner is urinating off one's deck onto the lawn. I'm always amazed at how green the grass is and how much faster it grows around the perimiter of the deck. Last summer I was over at a friend's house and noticed how green and tall the grass was behind his house by his pack porch...I just laughed when I was it!

My grandson who is three was here for the weekend. He said, Pappa I got to go pee. I said to go over by the pumpkin shack and go. He said no Pappa. I told him it's ok. We live in the country and us big boys go outside instead of running into the house all the time. So sure enough, he went by the pumpkin shack and took a pee. As he was going he says, Wow Pappa this is awesome. Since the first he done it, he has done it several times. When my daughter came up to pick him up, he says, Mommy I'm a big boy now because Pappa says I can go pee outside like him and Uncle Joshua.

The chinese have been doing this for hundreds of years ! They construct shacks on the side of the road for travelers and harvest the results for their gardens !

Hmmm. More beer, huh? Now, this is interesting.

If wee, I mean we, are going to use urine in our patches, I wonder how we can alter our diet so as to optimize our pee for pumpkins. Lots of hot dogs for nitrogen? Bananas for potassium?

Urine needs to be watered down about ten to one or even more than that. If you don't your pumpkin leaves are going to look like good dog Friday when he hit the foundation plantings. I toss it in the compost pile and let it crank on the leaves and such.
