Competition plants:

two 801.5 Stelts 97 (going to sibb them)
one 869.5 Calai 00
one 670 Daigle 03
one 846 Jutras 03
one 810 Dill 99 (I have two 810s and might save this one so that I can sibb in 06)

I also have a 846 Calai but might save it for 2006.

these are the ones that I have in mind now but might still replace one or two by any of the following:

1016 Daletas 01
604 Jutras 02
1076.5 Werner 02
1225.4 Jutras 03
1370 Rose 03
961 Daletas 01

I'll also have available some space in open field from a local farmer. I'll plant some more there for doing crosses or for producing flowers for pollinating the competition plants. I'm currently thinking of:

1125 Frantz 04
1101 Northrup 04
1074 Calai 02
965 Northrup 04
933 Jutras 04
495 Reiss 04
and maybe a few older 567.5 X 801.5 and 801.5 X 567.5 crosses.

Also, I might be able to get another spot in open field and would plant some ugly beast produces as to at least give them a chance and do the seeds justice....lol And well, who knows, maybe I'll get lucky as Boily did...
Seeds could be:

1097.5 Beachy 02
842 Eaton 02
845 Bobier 00
805 Pukos 00
582 Hester 01
735 Pukos 01
695 Handy 01

My lineup looks like: 1125 Frantz
664.5 Ligget
1143 Colbert
905 Ailts
926 Hunt
Two of the seeds are coming from the S.P.G.A. Raffle so it is tentative, depending if seeds are sent out in time for planting time.Plus it could change if I won a seed I wanted from their General Raffle, but 20 days later I still dont know what I won. I might have to put pictures of pumpkin seeds on milk cartons and ask,If anyone has seen my seeds please call 1-800-555- .

Very funny Phillip. There's a good reason why you haven't gotten them yet, and not just because of the reason(s) from a prior thread, which you apparently seem to have forgotten. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes for a change.
You have mail.

BTW...It took over a month for me to get my Wisconsin Raffle winning seed, and I don't recall seeing anyone on this board complaining about that group. I know I sure wasn't.

I put this thread on for fun I really dont think it is a place to air out differences between each other just pick up the phone. And not ruin a little fun for the rest of us.

Sorry Matt. I don't want to be airing this out either but a certain someone keeps on pecking at me but won't bother to send a private e-mail and ask questions and keep it private.
I apologize and will stay off your thread.

Marshfield, Ma, USA

With so many seeds to choose from either sent along with requests for some of my seeds,or the additional packages enclosed from the few growers that I requested specific seeds from, choices were tough.I have managed to narrow the selection down to this weeks list.

1097 beachy and 1104.5 Hester. Can't pass up a seed that threw a 1440 pounder. 1125 Frantz. Almost guarenteed to grow a pretty pumkin with excellent weight potential.

1049.5 Catapano. Nice high pumpkin 767 Catapano X 842 Eaton.

1124 Hester. 723 X 1260

Last two are still subject to change. There are several others that could sway me.

its growing nicely with use of a portable greenhouse, soil

with dirt, and had to use the misting system for 2 days and
tonight back to heaters and this weekend 2 space heaters for

Eh, I'm growing it too. I just didn't mention it because I'm growing it out of a big pile of pure juiced up super-compost, so it very well may blow up on me and I didn't want to be accused of wasting a good seed....(so go ahead and accuse me)

Great to hear it, Kyle.
you can't waste a seed unless you are letting it sit and get old in the fridge or freezer.
