With any luck you'll break the Kansas state record of 402 pounds!

Greg...I'm in south KC and am adding AG's to the garden for the first time this year. Already have a very healthy plant in the ground...just put on it's 5th leaf and is looking like it's getting ready to send a vine out. Maybe we could compare notes as the season progresses. Send me an e-mail [email protected]

I've got the whole garden in really. Put in 48 pepper plants last night to finish it off. I pushed the envelope this spring, but the weather has been perfect...way above normal. I'm hoping to have a big one ready by the first weekend in October to donate to a charity auction. Where abouts are you at in KC? I'm in the 435/Wornall area.

WOW! The past few warm days and a sprinkling of 13-13-13 has caused a HUGE growth spurt this week. Vine is definitely starting to form and is has outgrown the wire cage I had around it to keep the dogs out. Time to beat the dogs or build a bigger cage...where's my wire cutters!!?!?
