This morning was fun. We had a 3.9 to 4.0 earthquake at 4am, woke everyone up. It was centered only 9 miles from my house, not a huge earthquake by any means, but being so close to the epicenter, we definitely rocked and rolled! Woke everyone up from a dead sleep. No damage, just the great advantage of living in southern california. I wonder how my plants liked it? hehehe Jimmy

when you get that huge pumpkin growing, you'll probably get another quake and it'll split on ya! you better have it grow on some sturdy foundation or something, ha ha. earthquake proof pumpkins... hmm ha ha

Some of the quakes here will bounce that pumpkin straight up into the air. I didnt feel it, but I thought about you this morning. Glad nothing was busted :)

It wasn't all that big but it sure had a good sharp jolt at the beginning...it sure made the house start to creek. Most impressive was the sound. That was a loud deep rumble! I thought maybe one of my seeds was getting ready to break ground ;-)
