Hi all, I just wanted to let everyone know that the I.G.P.G.A, the Illinois Giant Pumpkin Growers'Association, is offering a free black and white copy of the 2005 Spring Editon of "The Illinois Garden Giant Gazette" to anyone who wants one. All you have to do is e-mail our club president, George Janowiak at [email protected] with the e-mail title reading FREE COPY.
We are a newly formed club that would like to put the word out that we may be small and in the developmental stage, but we intend to produce a quality publication that is entertaining and informative. To receive 3 colored copy editions, a SPRING EDITION, a MID-SEASON EDITION, and a POST-HARVEST EDITION, you can join our Seed Membership Plan for $15. Besides the newsletters, you will receive free quality seeds in the winter of 2006, and you will have access to our members section on the I.G.P.G.A. website, that will include archived editions of all future newletters.
We are also offering a family membership for $25 for Illinois residents or nearby growers from other states that will also include free entry for 2 vegetables at our I.G.P.G.A. weigh off and voting privelages in the club. This weigh-off will be held the first Saturday in October at Didier Farms.
How to join information is located on our website at www.igpga.org

continued.
The free black and white copy of the 2005 Spring Edition will be mailed out the first week of May, so contact George Janowiak at his above mentioned e-mail address if you would like to receive one.
Also, if you wish to donate seeds from previous years pumpkins or this upcoming seasons pumpkins, again contact George at [email protected] and they will be sent out to our members this winter. We are hoping to obtain donated seeds from as many growers, both heavy hitters and newbies, as possible. With more distribution, maybe your seeds will see more dirt.
Hope you enjoy your free copy of the first edition of "The Illinois Garden Giant Gazette" also know as the "GGG".
Good luck in 2005 and we hope to hear from all of you in the future.
Sincerely, Jeff Shenoha aka Shazzy

To all that responded, I will send you a papar copy when they are done printing them. Sometime in May,I hope. We will have a feature article with Joe Richards and how he grew his 1139. I have a intro. article and a article on how I beat gummy stem blight last year. A lot more too! It will make for some good reading
