Cheap driphoses! I think a lot of people would find these handy. I'm not sure exactly what Dripworks carries, but do they have some sort of water regulator you can attach to a hose to see how much water is going through it per hour, or day, or something?

self tapping rain barrel spickets, I have been trying to figure out how I am gonna do this and still make it look good...do to living behind a school. at least make it look like I have a machinacally sophisticated watering device mechanism with attaching double-quad,underground adjustable drip hose system;~)
