I'm planing to grow my plants back to back. How much room should I leave between them. Any advise would be appreciated. thanks. Steve

I had 4 feet last year and that worked pretty good, left enough room to get the crowns pretty easy.

I left 5 feet last year, but after this weekend this weekend I don't believe you need that much space at all. 4 feet or even down to 2 feet is just fine. I think I will go with 3 or 4 feet this year.

proof read darnit... I meant to say, that after talking to other growers this weekend, I don't think you need that much space between them.

I've grown thousand pounders with 40" inbetween the plants.

Steve: Last year I put about 4 or 5 ft. between plants....just enough to fit 2 in one 8 ft. cold frame... I've heard of people giving more though... Frank
