We got the soil test results back today. I would really appreciate if a few of you would comment besides what was recommended from Agricultural Services from Penn State.
Soil pH was below optimum (5.9) Phosphate was well into the above optimum category Potash was optimum Magnesium was well into the optimum range and calcium was well below optimum Then it said to apply Calcitic limestone 14lb/100 sq ft no magnesium or gypsum
Results: pH 5.9 P lb/A 730
Exchangeable Cations (Meq/100g) Acidity 7.5 K 0.7 Mg 1.3 Ca 6.3 CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity) 15.8
% Saturation of the CEC K 4.5 Mg 8.4 Ca 39.6
