Anyone own or have used one? How helpful are they, better or as good as a fogger?

I used one last year that I got on eBay for $40. Worked great. Was electric though and hated dragging 300 ft of extension cords around with me, so I picked up a stihl mistblower

$578 I think. Probably could have gotten it cheaper, but have had good experience with the service at the place where I got it.
