846 Jutras 03!!! (next 801.5 - my prediction) 604 Jutras 02 670 Daigle 03 1074 Calai 02 (good color but not as much weight potential) 1076.5 Werner 02 961 Daletas 01 and the ones already mentioned.
I also think that my 269 should grow real beauties, just like my 495 (801.5 Stelts X self).

All the above mentioned are great orange seeds. Most of all, I like 846 Jutras. It's basically an 801 with even more 567.5 Mombert packed into it through the Wallace side. In my opinion, it's the orange breeder of today, unless you are one of the dwindling few who have an 801...and if you ARE one of those few, would you consider crossing 801x846 Jutras and the reverse? (hint, hint!)
Other possible big orange up-and-comers to watch in '05 which haven't yet been mentioned yet are:
425 Wolf 800 Dieffenbaugher 965 Northrup 976 Swarts 1101 Northrup 1109 Speakman 1125 Frantz

I also very much like the three 1000 pounders in your list. All three will be planted in my open field patch this year.

454 Engel 04..... 808 Beachy(846 Calai x 801.5) x 231 Engel(801.5 x self). The wierd thing is the grandparent of this plant are from the same cloned cutting. So much 801.5 in this pumpkin it is bound to be beautiful oramge.

Whoa, cool! one of my seeds got mentioned. ok, here's some more of mine:
425 Wolf (658 wolf x 801 stelts) -- 658 is as selfed 846. 704.5 (801 stelts x 658 wolf) 329 (790 Daletas x 846 Calai) - grew my beautiful: 487.5 (329 Wolf x 801 Stelts)
my 427 is an interesting cross (760 patrick x 476 beachy), and will be grown again.
my 463 est. was supposed to make the list (815 andersen x 920 cole), but it went solid on me last year. oh well.

LOL martin, if the 846 jutras is the next 801.5 i think i'll pass on planting it this year and just hold on to it in a safe lock-box
hope you are right (wow now if i plant it i feel i will be wasting it)

Christy, You have no reason to think you will be wasting your 846 seed... didn't you grow a 915lbs pumpkin from it last year? Is that wasted??? Wow, if you call that wasted then what am I doing by growing two 801.5s and the 846 this year and probably again getting 500 pounders from them! LOL I think the only way we can waste a seed is by letting it sit in the fridge and never growing it!

Yeah like Martin said, but with one addition. I feel it is your duty to let me plant it if you won't!

I had a 986 Companion sibbed and got a deep orange 823. You may want to try to get some of the original Companions.

My 322 Glisczinski grows very orange pumpkins, almost red. The 322 was a side fruit on the 1074 Calai pollinated with the 801 Stelts. The 801 pollinator was a clone from the plant which grew the 1049 Koch.
