Propiconazole fungicide. It is considered systemic but more accurately is an acropteal penetrant. Banner is a sterol inhibitor in the DMI class. So it's very similar to Nova/Eagle (Myclobutanil), Bayleton, etc.
Ideally it would be used as a complement to a contact fungicide such as Clorothalonil (Bravo, Daconil, Manicure, etc).
I would highly recommend using Banner in rotation with a different "systemic" & avoid it's use just prior to fruit-set. Propiconazole was originally engineered by the former Ciba/Geigy as a growth regulator. Thus at very high rates it can prevent flowering for brief periods. After some university trials it was discovered to be a much better fungicide than growth regulator though nursery growers in the know get to enjoy the best of both world when they time & use Banner properly.
It is a very good fungicide.

*acropetal* penetrant....means it penetrates the tissue & moves slightly "UPWARD" but not down.
