I messaged Bohica(Tom) and he got me thinking more and more about this myc. experimentation he is doing. So Tom or anyone: can I innoculate a plant that is 3 weeks in the ground? I read about this months ago but with everything else I have had to do to get ready for this growing season, it was seemed like it would not be as significant as the other things I accomplished.

yes, I have read about making small hole on an angle towards the roots, and add like that. If you go to www.nysgpga.com and go to the links page, at the bottom there are images of the Mycorrhiza, click on that an it will bring you to the site where I bought mine, there is a bunch of info there.

If we apply Mycorrhizae in enough water, it will drench downward towards roots. Sice growing roots exude enzymes in their travels, the developing fungi can sense the roots & will find them. Contacting one small root is not the goal. Drenching the entire area is our goal. Holes in the soil are not necessary if the soil is in good tilth.
