Due to the possible outbreak of Asian Soybean Rust on the soybean crop, fungicides supply may be in very short supply. The same fungicides used on pumpkins are used to control soybean rust. The soybean rust was first found in the US in Nov. I have recently attended meetings on soybean rust and chemical representive of several companies say there may be shortages if there is a large outbreak this summer. Note - soybean rust does not affect pumpkins, however there are over 90 host plants it will affect. Just a heads up to get your fundicides early. Jim
