....and no one got upset this year! I want to thank you all for helping it to go smoothly. The server slowed down several times during the auction, but it wasn't too bad at all. Does anyone recall how many growers were signed in at any one time?

I checked several times and found over 75 signed at one point.

Back in the "old days", we had as many as 115!! Seems like many growers have already purchased seeds at higher prices from the previous auctions. The money all goes to help the various clubs, so you don't hear me complaining.

18 Buyers, 26 lots. this has been the norm of most auctions. You get your 20-25 participants and 50-75 spectators. As more and more auctions are held, the spectators will deminish. I believe the buyers will stay to the average.

It looked like Stan's pages weren't refreshing quickly & he STILL kept it moving.
Stan, were you on a dial, cable or DSL?

You did well. I like when auctions move. I think the key is to set a rapid pace on the first few lots even if they seem to sell cheap. People will move or lose.
