I am just wondering if there are anymore wives out there that are going through the same thing I am. My husband can't remember to pick up the kids or couldn't tell you when my birthday is, but he is absolutely totally obsessive about pumkin pedigrees and dates and times of online seed auction and has no issue remembering any of these things. He can't mail his sister a birthday card but has an extrememly well organized proficient process of all 1 million incoming and outgoing seed packets. He has all seeds catalogued and filed, but can't figure out what he did with the telephone bill. Help, I think I we need to start the "Wives of obsessive big Pumpkin Growers" website.

there is only one solution.....try growing !! you'll be hooked too. (although that does leave the question of who will pick up the kids and remember birthdays lol).

My wife is happy I'm not out at the bar every night and she always knows what I'm doing.

If your sister's name was Bobier or Stelts she'd get a card. Maybe she should take up growing.

Ok, don't get too carried away, I see I have overwhelming support. I guess I need too look for empathy in the "I think my husband's cheating on me" website. Lots of luck, Sue

You have to be very understanding to your husband, he has a incurable disease which has no known cures. He can't help himself.

Thanks for the moral support, he hasn't been growing only one year. I couldn't imagine more years like the last one though.

How many plants is he growing? After 3 years my wife finally said. "This spot is mine, Go get the plow and tiller". Sad thing is she was corrupted by the squash growers. If you think Pumpkin growers are bad...Squash growers are another story.
