We haven't heard anything in the past week on if anything survived in your patch. Please give us an update!

Hi Santa143,

Thanks for thinking of us. Things are much better in the Riverview patch since the squirrel attack. The fence has been mended and so too is Uncle Sam on the mend. We took your advice and pasted the holes with Captan, and it seems to have done the trick. We did, however, lose all our other smaller pumpkins. We have two new little ones started and will chose the best one to stay in the patch with Uncle Sam in the near future. A diary entry for the week will be made in the next couple days. We also hope to include a new picture of Uncle Sam. His estimated weight as of yesterday was 154 pounds. He will be a little scarred, but is still continuing to grow. Thankfully, the rain has let up a bit here too. A little sunshine has definately helped to brighten things up in our patch. Thanks again for all your support. Riverview School Kids
