Fever ain't the word for it. It brings me back to earth after work. I guess I should have been a farmer, insted of a machinist, all though I herd farmers work 24 hours a day 7 days week, thats rough!!! western foothills Ed. I have planed for 8 plants, and have some special seeds that I will save for a cross next year. If all goes well, thats the key word. The effort, and know how will be there come spring. Not looking for a world record just continous improvement. Thanks for the post Ed.

rog, welcome to obsessive compulsive behavior 101. you too will be a pumpkin junky before you know it. i am glad to contribute to the cause.
the first year watching these things grow at a rapid pace blows your mind so far to which i think no one can recover from. and just like a little kid watching a magic trick, you will want to see it again and again and again and it never gets old.
good luck shazzy
