I have been reading different things here on the board about seed storage and germination, and I found a article on the net That I thought I would pass along for comments

I gather it that the best way would be to put seeds in a fruit jar, suck the air out, and store them in the freezer acording to the article??????

i guess so, as long as they were dried-out first.
all of my other growers' seeds are in 1-gallon glass jars, out of DIRECT sunlight, at room temperature, like 70 degrees F, and there are gigantic desiccant packets in each jar, also...aside from the "keep 'em cool" part of it, i should be okay........i hope..........some TOP growers keep their seeds in the kitchen drawer, or in a cookie jar, or
WHEREVER there is a spot...don't worry TOOOOOO much about it; just like the 'weather/"heat-tolerance"/what seed grows best where?' flurry of questions lately, what might be perfect for the 898 might not be the best thing for the 845.

PS---do not mess with trying to dry out other growers' seeds!!!!!! it would be a waste of time and possibly damaging. probably goes without saying, but......

the BEST way to dry your own seeds, without a doubt, is to use a food dehydrator, around forty bucks, and it'll take
just 4 days at 95 degrees and they're all done. then, they go into the jars.....................eric
