Hmm okay, and what would be the closest relative to pumpkin, Watermelon? I'm thinking cucumber is closer? And if so, am I reading the chart correctly in that the optimum temp range is from 86-95F?

He actually have some information about pumpkin "Cucurbita maxima , summer squash , ,Type= an , , sow @ 72ºF , 10-20d" But i do not agree withhim there. 72 is to low temperature to get a quick start of the seed. I guess 85-90 is the best temperatur.
