I have to share this!
I was looking for articles on seed germination, and I ran across a article on germinating seeds ( marijuana ) well I read the article with a open mind and the consensus is that these people use baby wipe warmers to germinate their seeds. So I am thinking - if it works for their seeds shouldn't it work on pumpkin seeds?

The drug grower boards are always pretty interesting concerning the "planting secrets" that pumpkin growers also like to know :)
Concerning the baby wipe warmer - I would check the temperature of these units first. Warm could also be too warm for pumpkin seeds.

That is what I have been told about the "coca grande"
"crowd".
They have growers forums also.
I know,,,, alot of "rebel farmers" are good people.
Some,,,,,would eat your children with BBQ.

Nothing to be sorry about. Those sites hold alot of knowledge and have some very imaginative growers. I think pumpkin and weed growers could learn alot from each other.
I May have to join one of their message boards!?

Ok! just for what it is worth - i went and bought a baby wipes warmer, using lab tested digital readout thermometer. I put the thermometer in mid air inside the baby wipe warmer and it reads a constant 83 degrees plus or minus a couple of tenths of a degree.

i closed the lid and the temperature goes to 107 so it can be used with the lid open. definetly not closed, one might even remove the lid to prevent a accidental closing.

I am going to try and germinate a couple of seeds to see what happens.
