Somebody please send me Jim's phone number since I lost it in my computer crash. Send it in a private email please. He gave me his seeds in person privately last Christmas in New Hampshire and I just want to call him for suggestions on what I should plant from them.
Also thanks to Jim again for the wonderful seafood dinner he paid for my entire family there! He's a complete nut! Michel

I said "we" didn't I Al? Just spoke to Jim K yesterday and he promised to bring me bass fishin' with Peter when I get there. He suggested I plant his 855 this year from the list of Kuhn seeds I told him I have here. I'll probably try his 528 and Matt's 556 as well. I don't know if I told you what happened to your 978.6 plant here. First of all it got damaged by our late frost and then it eventually set three pumpkins in August and I just let the plant go and the pumpkins ended up from 175 to 250 lbs. est. I gave the two smaller ones to a farmer for his goats and the other one is a nice big round blob still lying out there on the side of the patch. Wasn't that seed used in the virtual weigh-off? I don't see any offspring of it at aggc. Do you know how it did?

Had 2 plants growing from the 978.6 , they were both on the virtual weigh off, the primary started to go soft in late Sept.& weighed between 850 & 900 while the back up made it and finished at 703 lbs. Photos of both are in my diary. I'll look 4 a photo of that 890 U were asking about & send it in private email. BTW, if Jim is a complete nut than I must be a partial one......

Don't feel bad Al! Jim has just had a bit more time than you to go completely nuts. You'll get there some day if you keep workin' on it! LOL
