Has anyone noticed that the 893.5 is now available at P and P seed for $35?

it's all supply and demand ... if not one bought any then the price would come down.

Martin,

True, but also remember that it was the male pollinator for the 763 biss, which grew the 1268 Pugh. The only other fruit on AGGC were two that Joe Platte grew, and one was 24% heavy and the other was 16% heavy.

beauty is in the eye of the be-holder.... lousy and ugly when refering to someone's pride and joy can be fighting words..LOL

thanks for the reminder, Steve! the flat wheel was just not what I would consider a beauty! My apology to the grower...

I don't think it's the grower's fault if a pumpkin was ugly Martin and no apology for that is really necessary although the word lousy was a bit much. Steve has a point that we all love our pumpkins and I've had my share of ugly ones!...and luckily a few really beautiful ones.

...and by the way...Steve! send me some seeds from your awesome crosses this year pretty please! I'd like to be able to say we swapped seeds the year before you hit your first over thousand pounder and went on to be the new world champ!
