For 10 bucks, or 20 for 3 chances, you can have a nice shot at an 805 Pukos, 1097 Beachy, and 8 other top seeds, and after I saw the 801 Stelts go for 475 bucks, this is a steal! Open to all, send check (payable to the PGPGA) to
Rocky Rockwell PGPGA Seed Raffle 112 Roosevelt St Sayre, PA 18840

How should that work, Sergio? That would sure be nice, though! But there will be more than 10 people taking part at the raffle!

There are two kinds of seeds you can grow, proven and unproven. By growing proven seeds you definately increase your chances of coming up with a big one. With all of the work performed and time spent there is no question that it is well worthwhile to have at least one good seed out there in your patch. Sending off bubble packs for new seeds does not give you a proven seed until a lot of other people have grown that seed and have shown that it will produce something out of the ordinary. With what is spent on tillers, sprayers, fertilizers, fungicides, bug killers, water tanks, pumps and the rest, how much is a proven seed worth? Certainly a raffle ticket or a club membership. Many of the clubs are dependent on income from seed raffles. Support the clubs and increase your chances of a big one by entering club fund raisers unless you have several 723 Bobier, 846 Calai, 1097 Beachy seeds or someting close just sitting in you drawer waiting to get planted.

We have ten seeds, ten winners, but remember, last year we had same set up, and one fella who bought a 3 chancer at 20 bucks won two lots, one which was the 805 Pukos, so he did quite well. Asd of right now, there have been few purchases of tickets, so the lower the amount purchased the greater chance of getting a seed and good seed at that!
Best of luck, and thanks for supporting our club, the PGPGA!
