I have been tempted to do it for a LOOOOONG time...
The good part is that I have made the decision to start looking for a youth pastor job (something I should have done about ten years ago), and have begun searching for jobs, filling out application questionnaires and sending out resumes. The bad news is that very few of jobs available are in our area, so my family and I may be relocating some place else in the country, not sure where yet. That means my patch will once again be abandoned, and I will be starting up another one somewhere else. The other good news is that BP will always be a click away, and so will all the other pumpkin growers I know. I might have already made a friend or two in the place I will be moving to, so I am sort of excited about it. I am especially excited about becoming a youth pastor. I didn't think I was qualified until I started filling out all the applications, then I realized how much my 15 years of volunteer work had prepared me for the real thing.
So, here's hoping that I get a job in one of your towns, maybe in your church, serving your youth and families. ...And growing AGs in your neighborhood! :)

I hope you´ll find the right place for everything you want to do in the future. It´s always great to hear you Americans move wherever you have better chances or perspectives...over here many people are far too restricted and tend to be stuck in the area they are used to for the rest of their life. Maybe it needs another generation to accept "just being a click away". Good luck! Ingo

Come to the Pacific Northwest! We need more growers! And we have a good growing climate. God bless you in your new adventure. I'll be praying for you. Stan
